CSBK Returns to Mont-Tremblant in 2012

As was rumoured back in late September, The Canadian Superbike Championship will indeed return to Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec next year.

According to a December 6 press release, from Frontline SBK, the national event will take place at Le Circuit on August 10-12 and marks the Canadian series' first visit to Tremblant in five years.

?We?re very excited about the 2012 return to Mont-Tremblant,? explains CSBK?s Kevin Graham. ?It?s a premier venue that all competitors, sponsors and crew really enjoy. The CSBK team and its loyal partners continue to strive towards the betterment of national roadracing in Canada. We have a very large and loyal following in Quebec and it is great offer another event at such a prestigious venue.?

The scenic and challenging 4.275 km track first hosted Canadian Superbikes in 2003, with the last round being held in 2007. According to track manager Vincent Loughran, the venue is planning a week full of bike activities leading up to the weekend event.

Expect more details on the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship season to be released during this weekend's Toronto Motorcycle Show.
